Deborah Matthias-Anderson, PhD, RN, CNE, is a nurse educator at the College of Nursing and Health Sciences at Metropolitan State University in St. Paul. Deb serves as secretary and is currently the chair of the Education Committee of the Minnesota Nursing Peer Support Network (NPSN). She has been teaching nursing for 20+ years in a variety of undergraduate and graduate nursing programs. Deb did doctoral research on the topic of work re-entry of registered nurses after completion of SUD treatment. Her specialty area in nursing is psychiatric-mental health with a special interest in substance use disorders.
