Linda L. Halcon is Associate Professor Emerita in the School of Nursing and a faculty member in the Center for Spirituality and Healing, University of Minnesota serves as the Vice Chair of NPSN. Prior to her faculty role, she worked in acute and long term care, adolescent chemical dependency, and public health nursing. She has extensive experience in public health and academic administration, international health, and refugee health. Her research and publications have focused on adolescent sexual health, stress and coping among refugees, integrative nursing, and essential oils for wound healing. She consults with health care organizations regarding clinical aromatherapy and she currently teaches courses on aromatherapy and self care in the Center for Spirituality and Healing.
