Jody Haggy - RN BSN, PHN
Board Member
Jody Haggy has been a nurse since 1978 focusing my practice at the bedside and outpatient care. She carried her certification for mental health and psychiatric nursing until 2023. She has worked with children, adolescent
adults and senior populations focusing on mental health and substance disorders. Mentoring and development of nursing skills and self-awareness were a journey for nurses.
This work led Jody to work with the health and safety of the nurses and coworkers around me. I became involved in hospital health and safety, a union chair for 12years at Fairview/UMMC serving on Minnesota Nurses Association board of directors and serving on HPSP through MNA. She remains active in MNA through the council of retired nurses (CARN). She also serves as a member on the AFL CIO Retiree Council.
Jody is also invested in multi-generational family care for an 89-year "young" uncle and grandchildren.
