Sigrid has been involved in Nursing Peer Support Network. Sigrid began as a convenor, became a member of the Education Committee in 2021, and a member of the Nursing Peer Support Network Board in 2025.
Sigrid’s professional career has focused on care of pediatrics patients. Her scope of practice includes staff nursing, nursing administration, Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN – CCNS), nursing consultant, and Assistant Professor of Nursing. Sigrid obtained her undergraduate degree at Gustavus Adolphus College, and her Master’s of Science in Nursing at Northern Illinois University.
Sigrid is committed to and will work diligently to assist nurses (students, active, inactive or retired) who struggle with issues related to substance abuse and mental health. Sigrid is in long term recovery and will support all efforts to promote prevention and provide support for all.
