Patty Kaiser, RN, MA has been a licensed RN for over 48 years. She has worked in both California and Minnesota in the field of substance use and mental health. During her career, she achieved her CPHQ (Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality) and worked to mitigate risk, improve safety, and reduce harm throughout the workplace. She has been an advocate for nurses serving as MNA steward and worked with state and federal legislative bodies to improve nursing practice as a member of the MNA Governmental Affairs Commission. In addition to the Nurses Peer Support Network (NPSN) board of directors, Patty also serves on the NPSN education committee. Patty is a person in long term recovery and believes, “with hope and help, recovery is possible.”
