Mission
To be Minnesota’s leading peer‑support resource for nurses impacted by substance use disorder (SUD) and mental health concerns—offering compassionate connection, restoring hope, and empowering nurses to thrive. Through outreach, education, and evidence‑based practices, we strengthen the nursing community and advance a safer, healthier future for all.

Vision
It is the vision of NPSNetwork that all Minnesota Nurses will have access to confidential community-based peer support that promotes recovery from substance use disorder and fosters mental wellness in a compassionate and caring environment.

Values
  • BOLD – NPSN makes bold and innovative choices in support of our mission/vision confronting stigma and shame and educating wisely.
  • COLLABORATIVE – NPSN is inspired and strengthened through inclusive partnerships with individuals, organizations, and our diverse community.  We embody a collaborative spirit in all we do.
  • INTEGRITY/HONESTY – NPSN holds itself to the highest standards of stewardship in program and fiscal accountability.  We are committed to honesty, equality, and transparency in all aspects of our work.
  • GRATITUDE – NPSN is grateful for our participants, volunteers, donors, board, and staff.  We recognize and acknowledge that each individual plays an important role in the success of this organization.
